Nick Goodwin
Director of Government Affairs – Indiana Health Care Association
Nick Goodwin leads the government affairs function for the IHCA/INCAL and has more than a decade of public sector experience at the federal and state level. Prior to joining the IHCA/INCAL, Nick served as the district director and communications director for Congresswoman Victoria Spartz and spent two years in Washington DC as the communications director for the U.S. Department of the Interior for Secretary David Bernhardt.
Before serving in these federal capacities, Nick worked extensively with the Indiana General Assembly, first as the deputy communications director for Speaker of the House Brian Bosma. He then held leadership positions in communications and legislative affairs with the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Governor Mike Pence’s Office, and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
Nick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington. He is a diehard soccer fan, avid sportsman, and enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. Nick and his wife, Natalie, have two children and a dog. They reside in Indianapolis.
