Pence talks with Obama about HIP

WLKY:

As soon as Air Force One touched down in Indiana on Friday, Gov. Mike Pence met President Barack Obama on the tarmac with a plea: Expand the state’s access to government-sponsored health insurance.

The move is an unusual one for a governor meeting a sitting president. Typically when a president arrives at an airport, the local governor greets him and they immediately exchange pleasantries and move on with the schedule. But reports say Governor Pence spoke to President Obama for about 5 minutes on matters of healthcare and expanding HIP.
