Reid Rasmussen of freshbenies, a Texas-based non-insurance benefits company, spoke during Sales Congress 2014 about value-add benefits for consumers. For example, if a consumer has health insurance, there’s not necessarily a guarantee that their coverage includes how they get to the hospital.
Add-on insurance for ambulance rides, along with telephone-based physician care and other extensions are reducing healthcare costs and covering consumers in useful new ways.
